BEHIND CRAFTING THE STORY

With the successful ideation and execution of "Sustaining Our Future" - I saw another opportunity to propose another long form project that addressed an IFB board priority, 'Bridging the urban, suburban, and rural divide in Illinois.' Specifically targeting our own membership. A large majority of members at IFB are conventional, row crop operations whom perhaps don't get the chance to see what an urban farm does (and vice versa with urban farmers seeing operations in rural areas). It was vital to create something that showed the endless possibilities and various benefits different forms of agriculture can bring to the state of Illinois and more importantly create community and understanding.

Never forget the way an edit made you feel the first time you watched it...wether that be a part of an interview or a  polished, smaller sequence you assembled...don't overthink what you are trying to make someone feel."
