BEHIND CRAFTING THE STORY

After the success of Sustaining Our Future, I saw an opportunity to propose another long-form project aligned with an Illinois Farm Bureau board priority: bridging the urban, suburban, and rural divide.  Many IFB members are conventional row-crop producers who may have limited exposure to urban agriculture, and the reverse is equally true. It was important to create a project that highlighted the commonalities between urban and rural producers across Illinois in order to showcase how anyone interested in agriculture can benefit by being an IFB member.

Never forget the way an edit made you feel the first time you watched it...wether that be a part of an interview or a  polished, smaller sequence you assembled...don't overthink what you are trying to make someone feel."
